Picking a bounce house sounds simple until you’re staring at a list of castles, combos, slides and obstacle courses. The right choice depends on who’s coming, how much space you have and what kind of party you’re throwing. Here’s how we help Warner Robins families choose, from two guys who were born and raised here and have set up inflatables all over Middle Georgia.
1. Start with your guests’ ages
Age matters more than anything else, because it decides how big and how active the unit should be.
- Toddlers and preschoolers (2–7): Go with a smaller, softer unit like our Balloon Bounce, built for little ones.
- Elementary kids: A classic bounce house or a combo with a slide keeps them busy for hours.
- Older kids and teens: They want competition. An obstacle course or interactive games like Axe Throw hold their attention better than a bouncer.
- Mixed ages: Rent two smaller items instead of one big one, so the little kids and big kids aren’t bouncing together.
2. Measure your space
Every inflatable needs a flat, open area plus room around it for safe entry and exit. Before you book, measure the spot you have in mind and check for:
- Overhead power lines or low tree branches
- Slopes, rocks or stumps
- A clear path from the street to the setup spot
Send us your measurements when you book and we’ll tell you which units fit. Water slides and obstacle courses need the most room, so double-check before choosing one of those!

3. Plan for power
Inflatables run on a blower that plugs into a standard outlet. If your party is in the backyard, you’re usually set. Hosting at a park, field or church lot without an outlet nearby? Add a
generator rental and you can set up almost anywhere.
4. Decide wet or dry
Warner Robins summers are hot, and water makes a big difference.
- Wet/dry combos like the Akua Falls, Baja Splash and Sugar Rush can run with water in summer and dry the rest of the year.
- Water slides from 15 ft to 27 ft are the main event at summer parties. You’ll need a garden hose nearby.
- Dry slides give you the thrill of a big slide in spring, fall or anywhere water isn’t allowed.
5. Match the rental to your crowd size
Most bounce houses fit about 4–8 kids at a time. For a backyard birthday, one unit is usually plenty. For church festivals, school carnivals and military family days near Robins AFB, plan on more than one so lines keep moving. A popular setup is one bounce house or combo, one obstacle course and two or three games.
Quick picks by event
| Event | Our usual recommendation |
|---|
| Toddler birthday | Balloon Bounce |
| Backyard birthday (ages 5–10) | Bounce house or wet/dry combo |
| Summer party | Water slide or wet/dry combo |
| Fall or Halloween party | Pumpkin or Mummy bounce house |
| School field day | Obstacle course plus games |
| Church festival or HOA event | Water slide or obstacle course, a bounce house and games |
6. Choose the right rental company
The unit matters, but so does who delivers it. Before you book with anyone, ask:
- Are you licensed and insured? Many churches, schools and HOAs require it.
- How do you clean your units? Inflatables should be cleaned and sanitized after every rental.
- Do you handle setup and pickup? You shouldn’t have to anchor anything yourself.
- What do your reviews say? Look for mentions of on-time delivery and clean equipment.
At C&C Inflatables, the answer to all four is yes. We’re licensed and insured, we sanitize every unit after every rental, we handle delivery, setup and pickup, and our Google reviews keep mentioning clean slides and great communication.
